We start by visiting the historic old town of Quito. Take a walk in the Independence Square and the main Cathedral, Presidential Palace, El Sagrario Church, and one of the best examples of the baroque style in South America, the iconic church La Compañia de Jesus. Then we visit the San Francisco Square and its church one of the oldest churches in Quito. Lunch at a Local Restaurant is included. In the afternoon we visit the middle of the world with its monument and the “Intiñan” Museum where you will have the chance to participate in interactive experiments that prove you are standing in the middle of the world.

Hotel pick up and transfer to Quito Airport for your domestic flight to Galapagos (2 hours flight). Once in Galapagos you are requested to pay the national park entrance fee, 100 dollars (cash only). Your naturalist guide will take you to the highlands of Santa Cruz Island, home to the iconic Giant Galapagos Tortoises. Lunch is included at the reserve. After lunch visit to the Charles Darwin Research Station to learn more about the endemic species and conservation projects in the Archipelago. Check in at your hotel. Free time in the afternoon.

This island is an ideal spot to observe the blue footed boobies mating ritual and nesting. Activities during the tour include hiking, wild life watching and snorkeling in Bachas beach. North Seymour also hosts a colony of sea lions. A must visit during your Galapagos trip. Lunch on board is also included as well as pick-up and drop-off from your hotel.

Bartolome Island holds one of the most beautiful landscapes in the Archipelago. The Pinnacle Rock in Bartolome island is one of the most representative landmark of the Galapagos. We will hike to the viewpoint on top of the island, it is a 400 meter hike in a sandy flat terrain and ascend using a staircase of 372 steps. Lunch on board is also included as well as pick-up and drop-off from your hotel.
Tour Highlights: Bartolome is home to a small colony of Galapagos penguins, which can be spotted underwater during snorkeling or resting on the rocks.

Isabela is the largest island in the archipelago and home the largest colony of wild tortoises. Visit the Galapagos giant tortoise breeding center and walk through the wetlands where you can see flamingos. After a delicious lunch we will visit the colonies of iguanas and sea lions. At the end the day snorkeling with sharks and sea turtles.
Tour Highlights: Snorkel at “Los tuneles” which are lava tunnel formations with sea lions, reef sharks, sea turtles, marine iguanas, eagle rays and penguins. Relax on pristine white-sand beaches.
